BTS held their first of two sold-out shows at London’s O2 Arena on Tuesday night (Oct. 9), kicking off the European leg of their worldwide Love Yourself Tour. Unfortunately, things got off to a rocky start with Jungkook unable to perform choreography due to an injury earlier in the day.
Minutes before the concert was set to begin, BTS’ label Big Hit Entertainment announced in the arena and through social media that the 21-year-old was going to perform seated and was unable to partake in the group’s choreography.
"Approximately two hours ago following the rehearsal and sound check, Jung Kook was lightly stretching in the waiting room when he collided with floor furnishings and suffered an injury to his heel," reads the English version of the statement. "Medical staff immediately responded and performed the necessary treatment. The opinion of the medical team is that while the injury is not serious, performing choreography may do further damage to the injured area."
