The pair will co-star in the musical for a limited run, starting Aug. 20.

On the heels of his starring (and co-executive-producing) role in Taylor Swift’s “You Need to Calm Down” music video, Todrick Hall has announced that he will return to Broadway this August in a limited run of Waitress.

Hall will play Ogie, the well-meaning but slightly stalker-ish love interest of Dawn, portrayed by fellow YouTuber and frequent collaborator Colleen Ballinger.

The duo took to YouTube to publicize Hall’s part with a personalized mash-up of “What’s Inside” and “Opening Up” from the musical, complete with costumes, background dancers and their own Joe’s Pie Diner.

“I’ll have a slice of Colleen and Todrick on the Great White Way pie, please! Let’s do this,” Hall says in the video. Watch it below.

Waitress tells the story of Jenna, a waitress and expert pie-maker who dreams of a way out of her small town and rocky marriage. Pouring her heart into her pies, she crafts desserts that mirror her topsy-turvy life, such as “The Key (Lime) to Happiness Pie” and “Betrayed By My Eggs Pie.” When a baking contest in a nearby county -- and a satisfying run-in with someone new -- show Jenna a chance at a fresh start, she must find the courage to seize it. Change is on the menu, as long as Jenna can write her own perfectly personal recipe for happiness.

Though this is Ballinger’s Broadway debut, Hall has a series of credits, including Kinky Boots, Chicago, The Color Purple and Memphis. He has also released several albums, with a world tour of last month’s Haus Party, Pt. 1 set to begin in October.

Hall and Ballinger’s run will last from Aug. 20 to Sept.15. Tickets are available via Ticketmaster.
