'The Cher Show,' 'Tootsie' and More Performances Announced For 2019 Tony Awards

The 73rd Annual Tony Awards will feature live performances from the casts of Ain’t Too Proud -- The Life and Times of the Temptations; Beetlejuice; The Cher Show; Choir Boy; Hadestown; Kiss Me, Kate; Oklahoma!; The Prom and Tootsie, according to a release on Thursday (June 6). The evening will also showcase a special performance by Tony Award-winning actress Cynthia Erivo.  

All of the aforementioned shows are up for awards at the ceremony, with Ain’t Too Proud, Beetlejuice, Hadestown, The Prom and Tootsie all in the running for best musical. Kiss Me, Kate and Oklahoma! are this year's two nominees for best revival of a musical. 

Taking place at New York's Radio City Music Hall, the 2019 Tony Awards will be hosted by James Corden and feature appearances from Sara Bareilles, Laura Benanti, Abigail Breslin, Kristin Chenoweth, Darren Criss, Tina Fey, Sutton Foster and Josh Groban, among others.

The show -- presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing -- will air on the CBS Television Network Sunday (June 9) starting at 8:00 p.m. ET.
