Lin-Manuel Miranda Taking 'Hamilton' On The Road in 2018 With a 20-City Tour

Lin-Manuel Miranda is giving people a chance to see the award-winning Broadway musical Hamilton in 20 cities around the country this year.

The whirlwind tour of the historical hip-hop musical will kick off in San Diego on Saturday (Jan. 6), even as it continues its runs in New York, Chicago and London, concluding next year with a three-week stint in Puerto Rico in January. Miranda took to Twitter to drop a video clip teasing different locations around the country and across the globe, including Boston, Atlanta, Chicago, New York, London, San Diego, Houston, Salt Lake City and more.

After being very vocal about aiding in the recovery of the damaged island, Miranda's final stop on the Hamilton tour will be performed at the University of Puerto Rico in a benefit concert with proceeds going towards aid for last year's devastating hurricane. Lin-Manuel has already been quite active in helping PR, with the actor released the charity single "Almost Like Praying," which featured a number of Latin musical stars, including Marc AnthonyCamila CabelloGloria EstefanLuis Fonsi and Jennifer Lopez. The song reached No. 1 spot on the Digital Songs Sales charts dated Oct. 28 and peaked at No. 20 on the Hot 100.
