At the 2019 BET Awards, Fantasia owned the stage, performing the new song “Enough” from her upcoming album Sketchbook. It’s a soulful guitar-driven barn-burner that had the crowd with their hands in the air, swaying.

“It’s so hard to let you go,” the 34-year-old North Carolina native sang as the song built in intensity. For its climax, her band's guitarist joined her at center stage, dropping to her knees as Fantasia belted.

Her seventh studio album, Sketchbook will be Fantasia’s first project since her 2017 holiday album Christmas After Midnight. She announced the album in early June. Per Fantasia's Instagram, T-PainJazmine Sullivan and Brandy, among others, worked with her on it. “Enough” is the first single.
