2019 Billboard Music Awards: Justin Bieber, Bad Bunny, Drake & Others Spreading Their Creative Wings

Artists show their versatility with nominations outside their usual genres.

Numerous artists are nominated for 2019 Billboard Music Awards in genres that aren't their usual fields, an impressive sign of their versatility. Take a look.   

Tori Kelly is nominated for top gospel artist, top gospel album for Hiding Place and top gospel song for "Never Alone" featuring Kirk Franklin.   

Justin Bieber is nominated for top R&B song for his featured role on DJ Khaled's "No Brainer," which also features Chance the Rapper and Quavo.   

Latin trap and reggaeton stars Bad Bunny and J Balvin are nominated for top rap song for "I Like It," their smash collaboration with Cardi B.  

Bebe Rexha is nominated for top country song for "Meant to Be," her smash collabo with Florida Georgia Line.  

Drake is nominated for top Latin song for his featured role on Bad Bunny's "MIA."   

French EDM star DJ Snake is nominated for both top Latin song and top dance/electronic song for "Taki Taki," the genre-bending smash which features pop star Selena Gomez, Latin star Ozuna and Cardi B.  

Dua Lipa is nominated for top dance/electronic song for "One Kiss," her collabo with Calvin Harris.  

English pop/rock band Bastille is nominated for top dance/dlectronic song for "Happier," their hit collabo with Marshmello.

Rappers Preme and Post Malone are nominated for top dance/electronic song for "Jackie Chan," their collabo with Tiësto and Dzeko.

Country star Maren Morris is nominated for top dance/electronic song for "The Middle," her smash collabo with Zedd and Grey.
