Billboard Music Awards Nominations Will Be Revealed on 'Today' Show & Live Stream

Khalid & Bebe Rexha will announce a handful of nominations on Tuesday's "Today" show, followed by a live stream from Billboard Headquarters.

On Tuesday, chart-toppers Khalid and Bebe Rexha will appear on NBC’s Today show to announce the 2018 nominations for the Billboard Music Awards. The stars will announce seven categories live on-air during the 8 a.m. hour for viewers on the East Coast.

Following Today, Khalid will join Billboard’s Jason Lipshutz and Xander Zellner and Vibe's Shenequa Golding to announce the remaining categories via live stream. The stream -- hosted by Billboard's Kevan Kenney -- will be available on the Billboard and Billboard Music Awards Facebook pages.

The 2018 Billboard Music Awards will air on NBC for the first time this year, broadcasting live from MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 20, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. The three-hour event -- produced by dick clark productions -- will also commemorate 60 years of Billboard charts. Nominees for the BBMAs are selected through a number of factors, including key interactions with music fans, album and digital song sales, radio airplay, streaming, touring and social engagement, as tracked by Billboard and its data partners over a 12-month period.
