British singer Rita Ora provided the Billboard Music Awards’ first red carpet show-stopping ensemble in Francesco Scognamiglio. But it was less about her bejeweled white top and its exaggerated shoulder and much more about the bottom half—a sheer skirt giving a clear view of the black thong underneath. The homage? Billboard Music Icon Award winner and performer Cher. “She [wore] a black thong," Ora said on E!. "So I was like ‘I need to be inspired, rocking it and moving it.’”

Ora will host Boy Band on ABC in June, where she’ll assist in finding the next One Direction-like band. In addition to her very popular adidas originals collection of 2015 (no word yet on if the singer will drop a similar capsule collection), she also just wrapped a forthcoming track with Ed Sheehan. She revealed to E! that he emailed her the track and then connected in the studio to complete it.
