Watch Drake Dazzle With a Fiery Performance of 'Gyalchester' Inside a Fountain at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards

Before the show, Drake's performance at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards was hyped as "memorable" and "astounding" and a pre-show rehearsal tipped off fans that it would happen inside the famed Bellagio Fountains in Las Vegas. And Drake certainly delivered, running through a fiery performance of his song "Gylachester" from his 2017 playlist-album More Life.

Surrounded by water and dressed in all white, Drizzy ran through the track with supreme confidence, as fireworks exploded and mixed with the fountain's geysers above him.

Drake was already having a great night even before his electrifying set. The Toronto MC was nominated for an astounding 21 Billboard Music Awards, and before the show even started he had accumulated 10 victories: Top Billboard 200 Artist; Top Hot 100 Artist; Top Song Sales Artist; Top Streaming Songs Artist; Top Rap Artist; Top Rap Tour; Top Rap Album (for Views); Top Streaming Song Audio (for "One Dance" feat. WizKid & Kyla); Top R&B Song (for "One Dance"); and Top R&B Collaboration (for "One Dance"). Already, Drake has added two more, winning Top Male Artist and Top Billboard 200 Album during the televised awards.

After a massive 2016 in which Views and "One Dance" dominated the year-end album and song charts, respectively, and earned the IFPI's global recording artist honor for that year having accumulated the highest sales, downloads and streams, Drake roared back in 2017 with More Life. After the album's release in March, all 22 songs appeared on the Hot 100, giving him the record for most Hot 100 hits by a solo artist in the history of the chart, with 154. Lil Wayne (135), Elvis Presley (108), James Brown (91) and Jay Z (87) round out the top five on that list, while only the cast of Glee, with 207, has charted more Hot 100 hits.
