Country crooner Sam Hunt took the stage at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards to perform his latest hit, the crossover pop track "Body Like A Back Road," which this week celebrated its 14th  at No. 1 on the Hot Country Songs chart, and reached No. 15 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart dated May 27, 2017, after successfully crossing over to Top 40 radio.

After surprising his fiancée Hannah Lee Fowler in the crowd during his performance at this year's ACM's, Hunt kept it simple, beginning seated in a cool blue tee and jeans and strumming an acoustic guitar, before taking to his feet to get the crowd -- all on their feet -- to sing along with the breezy summer anthem.

Though Hunt isn't nominated for any awards at this year's ceremony, he did earn Top Country Artist, Song, and Album nods last year for his breakthrough Montevallo debut LP.
