Three years after Imagine Dragons scored one of the most enduring hits in Billboard Hot 100 history, the group triumphantly returned to the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night (May 21) to perform their latest crossover smash, “Believer,” at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

During the performance, Imagine Dragons relied heavily on their crushing percussion as frontman Dan Reynolds stalked the stage and ducked underneath the neon green lasers coming from behind him. The performance of "Believer" provided a shot of adrenaline following a Celine Dion performance that, while also spectacular, did not rock quite as hard.

Imagine Dragons last performed at the Billboard Music Awards in 2014, the year “Radioactive” broke the record for the longest run on the Hot 100 by logging 87 weeks on the chart. “Believer” recently reached a new peak at No. 20 on the Hot 100.
