Dance crossover sensation The Chainsmokers (alongside Drake) smashed Billboard Music Awards records with their respective 22 BBMA nominations. How exactly does a Billboard 200 debut act celebrate their success? With a little help from Italian fashion house Valentino of course.

“In music, you’re always able to get more creative because they’re all artists, so to dress them down and just have fun with it as a celebration of their success and a break from the tour was super easy for us to both come to that agreement," says stylist Siena Montesano. To keep their fit laid back and casual, Montesano pulled full looks from Valentino’s Spring 2017 men’s ready-to-wear collections. Drew Taggart wore an indigo twill chino pant and matching jacket with navy blue beaded embellishment and Foundrae fine jewelry while Alex Pall rocked a white polo shirt under a sporty camo print trench.

"It’s a fun, cooler way to do a carpet than a suit that’s bright colored, to keep it more casual and fun. I’m really excited about this look; compared to other one’s we’ve done, this one might be my favorite," Montesano said. She also notes that their outfits are a step in the right direction because they're working on elevating their everyday street style wear. "I think it’s a good prelude to how I want them to start dressing for any day of the week."
