Watch Celine Dion Reflect on Madonna's 'Incredible Job,' Her Own Tear-Jerking Performance at 2016 Billboard Music Awards

Sunday night (May 22) in Las Vegas, Céline Dion wowed Billboard Music Awards viewers with a stirring, teary-eyed tribute to her late husband René Angélil. Just four months after he succumbed to cancer, Dion delivered an impassioned cover of Queen’s “The Show Must Go On,” and stuck around afterward to speak with Billboard about the emotional evening.

“Right now we don’t have time to celebrate or process moments; they’re happening so fast,” Dion says.

She wasn't only reflecting on Angélil, but on legends the music world lost in recent months, like Prince and David Bowie

Madonna did an incredible job,” she says, referring to her Prince tribute alongside Stevie Wonder. “The first album I bought in my life was Stevie Wonder. I’ve been singing 'Purple Rain' for a year onstage. Prince came to me [and] asked how it was to perform in Las Vegas a little while ago. He did many performances. He wrote me a song."
