Singer-songwriter Jewel performs on the Main Stage during the first day of The Wellness Experience by Kroger at The Banks on August 20, 2021 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Lauren Ash is set to host the event, which will be virtual for the second year.

Jewel and gospel great CeCe Winans  are set to perform at the 2021 Gracie Awards, which will take place virtually on Oct. 5 at 7 p.m. ET/PT. Actress and comedian Lauren Ash will host the show.

The ceremony was originally announced for Sept. 27 at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif., but will instead be virtual for the second year in a row. The show was held at the Beverly Wilshire in 2019, the last year before the COVID-19 pandemic made such gatherings much more problematic. Sheryl Crow performed that year. Andra Day and Kelsea Ballerini have performed in previous years.

The Gracie Awards, now in their 46th year, are presented by the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation. They honor women “whose work continues to influence and further the achievements of all women in media,” according to a statement.

As previously announced, 2021 honorees include Taylor Swift and Kelly Clarkson and such other A-listers as Hillary Rodham Clinton, Robin Roberts, Kerry Washington, Catherine O’Hara, Lena Waithe and Erin Andrews.

“We are thrilled to have Lauren’s comedic spirit and these incredibly talented performers join us for the Gracies,” Becky Brooks, AWM president, said in a statement. “We look forward to…being together in person next year to celebrate the accomplishments of women in media.”

Vicangelo Bulluck will executive produce the event for the sixth year in a row.

This year’s awards coincide with AWM’s 70th anniversary. Since its inception in 1951, AWM, originally known as American Women in Radio and Television, has been committed to inspiring, educating and celebrating women and expanding networks of women across all segments of media.

AWM will mark its anniversary with the launch of a Voices of Courage digital tapestry, a commemorative logo and a social media campaign using #VoicesOfCourage and #70YearsOfCourage.

Tune in on Tuesday, Oct. 5, at 7 p.m. ET/PT at @AllWomenInMedia on Facebook.
