What better way to kick off an awards show than with Miranda Lambert and Elle King singing about being drunk?

The duo of country stars took to the stage at the Grand Ole Opry House for Sunday night's Academy of Country Music Awards (April 18), performing a (socially distanced) crowd-pleasing rendition of their single "Drunk (And I Don't Wanna Go Home)." The pair appeared at the outset of the show, stepping out of a car and posing for red carpet photos before strutting their way to the stage.

Clad in studded, black leather jackets with massive amounts of pink and blue fringe draping off of their arms, Lambert and King got goofy with one another throughout the performance, dancing and pantomiming along with one another, before belting out the song's infectious chorus together. "So don't you wait up tonight/ Don't worry, I'll be fine/ Baby, I'm drunk and I don't wanna go home," they sang.

Lambert was also nominated at Sunday's awards — she scored six nominations, including female artist of the year. The duo were also just a few among a star-studded lineup of performers, including Carrie Underwood, Kelsea Ballerini, Kenny Chesney and many more.
