How to Watch the 2021 NAACP Image Awards

The 52nd annual NAACP Image Awards are coming up this weekend (Mar. 27), hosted by six-time winner Anthony Anderson.

The event kicks off at 8 p.m. ET on BET and CBS. For online viewers, seven-day free trials on fuboTV and SlingTV allows users to stream BET and CBS live from any device.

Female artists dominated the nominations in the recording categories this year. Beyoncé leads with six nods, followed by Ledisi with five, and H.E.R.Chloe x Halle and Alicia Keys with four each.

Big SeanDrake and PJ Morton each have three nominations, as does Jhené Aiko.

Additionally, NBA star LeBron James will be honored with the prestigious President’s Award, presented in recognition of special achievement and distinguished public service. He joins a roster of previous recipients that include Rihanna, Jay-Z, Jesse Jackson, Lauryn Hill, Soledad O’Brien, Colin Powell, Condoleezza Rice and Muhammad Ali, among others.

The event will also feature performances from outstanding female artist nominee Jazmine Sullivan and Maxwell, who is celebrating the 25th anniversary of his debut album Urban Hang Suite. Throughout the evening, there will be appearances from Alicia Keys, Andra Day, Arsenio Hall, Cynthia Erivo, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Michelle Obama, Misty Copeland, Regina King, Samuel L. Jackson, the cast of Tyler Perry's Sistas, Swizz Beatz and Tracy Morgan.
