Nominations for the 2021 Grammy Awards will be announced on Tuesday, and Billboard has some big bets for who could be up for record of the year.
Billboard awards editor Paul Grein thinks BTS could be the first boy band to get a nod in this Big Four category since *NSYNC’s "Bye Bye Bye" 20 years ago, with their career-first Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit "Dynamite." Or Billie Eilish could be the first artist to have a two-peat win in this category, with "Everything I Wanted," since U2 nearly 20 years ago. The Grammy-sweeping artist's No. 1 hit "Bad Guy" took home the title earlier this year along with song of the year.
But for Travis Scott, this would mark his first-ever nomination in a Big Four category with a main artist credit if his No. 1-debuting Hot 100 hit "Highest in the Room" makes it onto the Grammy ballot. (He received an album of the year nod in 2016 as a featured artist on "No Sense" under Justin Bieber’s Purpose album.)
