Justin Bieber, Post Malone, Roddy Ricch, Taylor Swift and The Weeknd are all competing for artist of the year at the 2020 American Music Awards on Sunday, Nov. 22. But who's your favorite recipient of the award in the past decade?

Swift, who has won 29 American Music Awards, more than anyone else, could take home the title for a fifth time in the last 10 years if she wins. Bieber is another repeat winner in this category, after he won artist of the year in 2010 and again in 2012. He was nominated for a third time in 2016 but ultimately lost to his "Stuck With U" collaborator Ariana Grande.

One Direction won two years in a row, from 2014-15, and Bruno Mars became artist of the year in 2018.

The 2020 AMAs will air on ABC at 8 p.m. ET on Sunday, Nov. 22, from Los Angeles' Microsoft Theater. The American Music Awards are produced by dick clark productions, which is owned by MRC Entertainment, the parent company of Billboard.
