Charlie Puth and Gabby Barrett perform onstage at Nashville’s Music City Center for “The 54th Annual CMA Awards” broadcast on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2020 in Nashville.

Dynamic duo Gabby Barrett and Charlie Puth lit up the 54th Annual Country Music Association Awards on Wednesday (Nov. 11) with a performance of their “I Hope” remix, which hit a new peak of No. 5 on the Hot 100 chart this week.

A heavily pregnant Barrett -- she’s in her third trimester! -- hit every note with ease, as Puth accompanied her on piano.

The two stars traded verses, pouring their souls into the emotional track, before blending their voices on the last chorus: “I hope you both feel the sparks by the end of the drive/ I hope you know she's the one by the end of the night/ I hope you never ever felt more free/ Tell your friends that you're so happy.”

Barrett is also nominated for single of the year and new artist of the year.

Dan + Shay and Justin Bieber, Little Big Town, Miranda Lambert and many more are also expected to take the stage tonight at the Music City Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
