Dan + Shay ‘Should Probably Go To Bed,’ But We’re Glad They Performed at the CMT Music Awards Instead

Dan + Shay lit up the 2020 CMT Music Awards on Wednesday (Oct. 21) with a performance of their song “I Should Probably Go To Bed,” which is currently sitting at No. 44 on the Billboard Hot 100.

The performance began with Shay Mooney climbing out of an actual bed, as Dan Smyers accompanied him on piano. The duo proceeded to harmonize flawlessly as they sang about the temptation of reconnecting with an ex-lover after returning home: “'Cause I know in the mornin' (In the mornin')/ I'll be callin' (I'll be callin')/ Sayin' ‘sorry’ for the things I said/ So I, yeah, I should probably go to bed.”

Ashley McBryde, Gabby Barrett, Jimmie Allen and Noah Cyrus, Kane Brown, Kelsea Ballerini and Halsey, Little Big Town, Luke Bryan, Luke Combs and Brooks & Dunn, Morgan Wallen, Sam Hunt and Shania Twain and more will also be taking the stage this evening.
