This year’s new categories include the new artist of 2020, the collaboration song of 2020 & the soundtrack song of 2020.

Justin Bieber and Megan Thee Stallion are the top music nominees for the 2020 E! People’s Choice Awards, with six nods each. Ariana Grande and Lady Gaga are next in line, with five nods each. Bad Bunny, DaBaby, Cardi B, Dua Lipa and BTS have four nods each across the 11 music categories.

Voting commences Thursday (Oct. 1) in 44 categories, which cover movies, television, music and pop culture. Voting runs through Friday, Oct. 23. This year’s new categories include the new artist of 2020, the collaboration song of 2020 and the soundtrack song of 2020. (As you will see, E! uses the article “the” in the name of each category.)

The E! People’s Choice Awards air Sunday, Nov. 15, at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The show is set to broadcast from Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif. As previously announced, Jennifer Lopez will be honored with the People’s Icon of 2020 award.

Fans can vote online at pca.eonline.com, via Twitter or for select categories on Xfinity X1 by saying “Vote for the People’s Choice Awards” into the Xfinity Voice Remote.
