Little Big Town, Kane Brown, Maren Morris & More Set to Perform at 2020 CMT Music Awards

This year’s show will consist of “outdoor performances in and around Music City,” according to CMT.

Little Big Town, which hosted the CMT Music Awards in both 2018 and 2019, will perform at the 2020 show, as will Ashley McBryde, Dan + Shay, Kane Brown, Luke Bryan and Maren Morris, CMT announced Wednesday (Sept. 30).

All six acts are nominees this year. McBryde and Dan + Shay each have three nominations, putting them in a six-way tie for the most nods this year. Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Combs, Sam Hunt and Thomas Rhett also have six nods each.

The 2020 CMT Music Awards are set to air Wednesday, Oct. 21, at 8 p.m. ET on CMT, MTV, MTV2, Logo, Paramount Network, Pop and TV Land. CMT hasn’t yet announced this year’s host.

The CMT awards were held at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville the last two years. This year’s show will consist of “outdoor performances in and around Music City,” according to CMT.

CMT describes the CMT Music Awards as “country music’s only entirely fan-voted awards show.” Voting is open now at vote.cmt.com.

Executive producers of the 2020 CMT Music Awards are CMT’s Margaret Comeaux, Switched On Entertainment’s John Hamlin and Amy Lin Johnson. Executives in charge of production are Jackie Barba and Heather D. Graffagnino.

Additional performers and the host will be announced at a later date.
