Luke Bryan performed his most recent country radio smash, the escapist "One Margarita," at the ACM Awards on Wednesday night (Sept. 16).

Wearing a button-down t-shirt with a tropical design, Bryan kicked off his performance by proclaiming, "It's good to be back on stage, woo!" before launching into a feel-good rendition of the five-o'clock-somewhere anthem. Behind him and his band, the set consisted of screens projecting a relaxing background of palm trees and lightly rolling waves.

"One Margarita" topped Billboard's Country Airplay chart back in July, while also hitting a No. 19 peak on the Billboard Hot 100, Bryan's highest-charting entry since "Play It Again" in 2014. "During these challenging times, it's a song that people can just dance and let go to," Bryan told Billboard about the song. "It's been fun watching my fans react on socials, and it's gonna be even more fun when I get to see them react at a live show."

The ACM Awards are produced by dick clark productions, which is owned by MRC Media, the parent company of Billboard.
