Watch Idina Menzel Sing 'Into the Unknown' With Nine Other Elsas at 2020 Oscars

American audiences know Idina Menzel as Elsa from Frozen, but on Sunday night (Feb. 9), they were introduced to Elsas from around the world.

Menzel delivered a stunning performance of Frozen 2 hit "Into the Unknown" at the 2020 Oscars, alongside nine women who have voiced Elsa in countries from Norway to Thailand. The performance began with Norwegian singer-songwriter Aurora -- whose backing vocals were featured on the original track -- singing angelic notes before Menzel graced the stage in a white strapless gown with dramatic, billowing sleeves.

Joining Menzel after the first chorus were Anna Buturlina (voice of Elsa on the film's Russia release), Carmen Garcia Saenz (Latin America), Gisela (Spain), Kasia Łaska (Poland), Maria Lucia Heiberg Rosenberg (Denmark), Takako Matsu (Japan), Lisa Stokke (Norway), Willemijn Verkaik (Germany) and Gam Wichayanee (Thailand). All of the women sang in their native languages but came together as one powerful, unified chorus for the song's big finish.
