Finneas Teases Billie Eilish's James Bond Song on Grammys Red Carpet

Shortly after becoming a Grammy winner, Finneas chatted with Billboard about his next big venture with his sister, Billie Eilish: The James Bond theme song they wrote together.

After years of writing songs in their parents' home, Finneas and Eilish have settled in to the life of making tracks while traveling around the country -- which is where the James Bond song came to life. "We did the whole James Bond song on the road," he revealed.

Though Finneas wasn't able to share any specifics about the song ("I am so legally obligated not to do that," he said with a laugh), his enthusiasm about the track was enough to take the anticipation to another level. "All I will say is that I think the movie's incredible, and I'm so excited for people to hear the song that we made."

Finneas also chatted about how it was a "huge honor" to work with Selena Gomez, Camila Cabello and Tove Lo recently, as well as working on his own forthcoming album -- and how he chose which songs to keep for himself instead of having his sister record it. "Everything sounds better when Billie sings it, so the only ones I'll keep for myself are ones that really feel just super personal to me in their content, like this is my life story and maybe not anybody else's," he said.

As he was walking the carpet, Finneas won the Grammy for producer of the year, non-classical, which was announced on the Grammys Premiere Ceremony. Just before that, he won his very first Grammy, as Eilish's When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? was awarded best engineered album, non-classical. If Eilish's "Bad Guy" wins record of the year, Finneas will have a clean sweep.
