Megan Thee Stallion Predicts It Will Be a 'Hot Girl Year,' Teases Her Debut Album at 2019 AMAs: Watch

Megan Thee Stallion stopped to chat with Billboard’s Tetris Kelly on the red carpet at the 2019 American Music Awards on Sunday (Nov. 24), speaking about how she plans to carry on “Hot Girl Summer” and what’s coming next for her musically.

Asked how (with the summer now over) she plans on keeping “Hot Girl Summer” going, Megan Thee Stallion tells Billboard that it will be a hot girl year. “For my hot girls that's in college right now, we havin' a hot girl semester,” she says. “We gonna kick it back up in the spring. We still partying and hot girl summer gonna be right back before you know it.”

As for what Megan Thee Stallion has planned next, she reveals that she will finally be releasing her debut album. “I was really scared of commitment,” she confesses. “My mixtapes were like my boyfriends, and we were just dating. But sugar, my debut album, we married. Y'all finna get to know me, and that's where we at with it.”
