'Stand Up' From 'Harriet' Wins Top Song at Hollywood Music in Media Awards

Cynthia Erivo & Hildur Guðnadóttir were among several female winners at the event.

"Stand Up" from Harriet won the original song—feature film award at the 10th annual Hollywood Music In Media Awards, which were held at The Avalon in Hollywood, Calif., on Nov. 20. Cynthia Erivo and Joshuah Brian Campbell co-wrote the song for the film, in which Erivo stars as Harriet Tubman.

Two film scores tied for original score—feature film. The co-winners are Joker (Hildur Guðnadóttir) and Ford v Ferrari (Marco Beltrami, Buck Sanders).

Erivo and Hildur were among several female winners at the event. Others were Amie Doherty for best animated short score (Marooned), Dara Taylor for original score—independent film (Colewell), Jesica Yap for original score—short film (foreign language) for Home, Mary Ramos for outstanding music supervision—film (Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood), Sarah Schachner for best video game score (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare), Catherine Grieves (with David Holmes) for best music supervision for TV show/limited series (Killing Eve) and Bebe Rexha (Bleta Rexha) for co-writing the original song—animated film winner, "Beautiful Life" from Abominable with David Saint Fleur, Samuel James Zammarelli, Nicholas Black and Christopher Tempest.
