Lizzo, Lil Nas X, H.E.R. and More React to Their 2020 Grammy Nominations: 'AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH'

Lizzo, Lil Nas X, Jonas Brothers and more took to social media on Wednesday morning (Nov. 20) to react to the 2020 Grammy nominations.

In a string of all-caps tweets, Lizzo -- who leads the pack with eight nominations including nods in each of the Big Four categories -- couldn't contain her excitement. "THIS HAS BEEN AN INCREDIBLE YEAR FOR MUSIC AND IM JUST SO THANKFUL TO EVEN BE PART OF IT," the singer tweeted before optimistically adding, "WE ARE ALL WINNERS."

Meanwhile, Lil Nas X couldn't hide his disbelief at his six nominations (including record of the year, album of the year and best new artist), simply writing, "NO F---ING WAY."

Country newcomer (and best new artist nominee) Yola issued a statement expressing her gratitude: "To be nominated for four awards in the 10th month of my debut year is beyond a dream come true," she said. "Thank you to my incredible team and everyone who has supported and believed in me along the way."

Offset was also incredibly thankful in his statement, after his Cardi B collab "Clout" got a nomination for best rap performance. “Thank you God for the gift of my talents so I can try to change the world with my music. I won’t get lost in yearning for that win- I’m just grateful to my peers who support my artistry and voted to get me to the GRAMMY nomination and to be a part of a list of such amazing creators. Thank you to my wife, my label and especially my fans.  Truly blessed.”

Maluma video translation: "I have so many things to say that I don't even know what to say. The universe and God collide at the right time and the least expected. I want to thank the Grammys Academy for giving me this joy. I am very happy, very excited. As soon as I heard the news, I called my mother, I shared my feelings. You know that I have worked very, very hard for this and today, it's a reality. Thanks to the Academy, to my fans, to my family, and especially to the composers and producers who were part of 11:11. What a beautiful achievement and how nice to see when they recognize the effort and recognize the talent."

"This moment is for every open mic, garage band and underground movement that ever took place. We're reminded by this nomination that anything is possible. Tank and The Bangas are possible." - Tank and The Bangas

"I just found out the news, it's fantastic for me because it shows the affection and the love that the American audience has had for me for over 20 years now. This is a wonderful opportunity for me to thank my supporters and everyone who has believed in me since day one. I also want to thank the Recording Academy and everyone who worked on this unique and incredible project." - Andrea Bocelli

On January 13, 2018 we were all in Mammoth having a boys weekend and ended up having some very honest conversations. It started with an idea of doing a Vegas residency with no new music and eventually we got to a place where we were all okay with doing a documentary of some kind telling a story of the past. We weren’t all the way there though. The road to get where we are today was not easy, it took a lot of healing and time to even be comfortable with doing something together. This isn’t just a band, this is our family. There were some really tough moments that had to happen for us to get to this place but it’s right where we are supposed to be. This has truly been our greatest year yet. We get to be back on stage together again, as brothers, where we belong and making music that we love and are proud of. We truly couldn’t be artists, as friends, and as brothers. To think a year ago we hadn’t even released music... This nomination means the world. Thank you to the best fans - we know how much this year and this comeback has meant to you guys too. Thank you to our guy @ryantedder. Thank you @recordingacademy for the nomination. Thank you everyone for believing in us!
