Green Day were all over the 2019 MTV EMAs on Sunday night (Nov. 3), between a twofer performance from the MTV World Stage in Seville, Spain, and a big win on the main stage.

The group headlined the MTV World Stage on Saturday night, closing out #MTVMusicWeek on the Plaza de España, and a portion of that massive outdoor performance was broadcast on Sunday's show. The rock veterans started out with "Father of All," their current single and the title track from their upcoming 2020 album. And the party really kicked into gear when they pulled out "Basket Case," their breakout hit from 1994's Dookie.

The crowd knew every word to the 25-year-old hit, even helping out frontman Billie Joe Armstrong on singing duties when he pointed the mic in their direction. The band hammed it up during the performance, as they know the song like the back of their hands, with Armstrong sliding under bassist Mike Dirnt's legs at one point.

In addition to the high-energy performance, the band also accepted the prize for best rock on Sunday's telecast. (See the night's full list of winners here. Plus, see photos from the red carpet here, as well as pics of all the performances.)
