Taylor Swift is set to kick off the 2019 MTV VMAs with two songs, and one of them will be a track that fans have never before heard her perform live.

"I have something VMAs related to tell you, and that thing is that I'm not just gonna be opening up with one song. I get to do two!" Swift announced with a squeal via an Instagram story on Monday (Aug. 26).

She then teased: "One of the songs I'll be performing is one that I've never performed live before, so wish me luck. I just wonder which one it's gonna be. Which one's it gonna be?"

Swift has left that question unanswered thus far, but earlier in the day, a VMAs insider revealed that the pop star's opening number will feature a number of drag performers.

On Instagram Monday evening, Swift's friend (and one of her "You Need to Calm Down" music video co-stars) Todrick Hall said that he'd be joining in on the fun, too: "I will not be performing tonight in @waitressmusical on broadway because I’ll be performing in the opening number with @taylorswift at the VMA’s!" he wrote.

Check out Swift's announcement below, and catch her performance on the 2019 MTV VMAs at 8 p.m. ET.
