Miranda Lambert arrives at the 53rd annual Academy of Country Music Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on April 15, 2018 in Las Vegas.

Lambert's tally includes two noms with Pistol Annies. If you don't count those, Reba is still on top.

Miranda Lambert ties Reba McEntire as the female with the most CMA Awards nominations—but only if you count two noms Lambert received with Pistol Annies in 2013. Both of these stars have amassed 50 CMA noms.

McEntire received her first CMA nom in 1983; her most recent in 2017.

Lambert received her first CMA nom in 2005; her most recent this year. She's nominated for female vocalist of the year for the 12th year in a row.

McEntire is set to appear as a "special guest host" the 53rd annual CMA Awards on Nov. 13, along with Dolly Parton, who has amassed 44 noms. The show's principal host is Carrie Underwood, who has received 33 CMA noms. It's Underwood's 12th consecutive year as host or co-host, which puts her in a tie with Vince Gill for the longest hosting stint in CMA history.

Here's a complete list of all females who have received 24 or more CMA nominations—counting noms they received as members of groups or duos.
