Taylor Swift Talks New Kitten Benjamin Button, Speaking French in 'Me!' Video at 2019 BBMAs Red Carpet

Just before taking the stage to open up the 2019 Billboard Music Awards, Taylor Swift sent in a few video answers to fan questions for E!'s Jason Kennedy and Tanya Rad to air as she walked the red carpet.

In the special segment, Swift spoke about the music video for her new song "Me!," saying that while filming the insane music video was fun all around, the clip's opening scene where she and Panic! At The Disco frontman Brendon Urie had a fight in French was her favorite to shoot. "We laughed so hard trying to get our [French] pronunciation right and trying to keep the cats on the couch," she said. "It was a blast, and we actually just posted a behind the scenes video so you can see it!"

?Another fan asked how her newest kitten, Benjamin Button (who the star met on the set of her new music video), was adjusting to life with his two older sisters, Olivia Benson and Dr. Meredith Grey. "Benjamin is sort of the way you would epxect a little brother to be with Olivia and Meredith," Swift said in the video message. "Now they both have a tiny little kitten pouncing on them, and it's really funny. It's like tiny little marshmallows pouncing on each other."

Meanwhile, Swift was on her way to unveil the first-ever live performance of her brand new song "Me!" along with Urie. Before heading inside, Swift was seen striking a pose on the red carpet in a gorgeous lavendar Raisa & Vanessa dress, Casadei heels, and glittering jewelry by Stefere and Graziela Gems, Stephen Webster, Moritz Glik and Jenny Dee Jewelry.

Along with opening up the show, Swift is also nominated for two awards at this year's BBMAs, including top female artist and top touring artist.
