Alicia Keys and her son Egypt Daoud Dean perform on stage at the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards which broadcasted live on FOX at the Microsoft Theater on March 14, 2019 in Los Angeles.

Alicia Keys followed up being honored as an Innovator at the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards with a soulful performance of her new song “Raise a Man,” and then throwing back to her hit “You Don’t Know My Name,” on Thursday night (Mar. 14) from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

Keys was all smiles while performing “Raise a Man” at the grand piano in front of a full band at the awards ceremony, and duplicated the duel piano setup that she showcased while performing at the Grammy Awards last month. Midway through the song she declared that she wanted to bring up “the man that I get to raise,” and her 8-year-old son Egypt took the stage to join his mom on the piano.

Soon after, Keys stood up and led the crowd in a sing-along of “You Don’t Know My Name,” her 2003 hit that made it to No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100. Egypt joined his mother at center stage and busted it out the floss dance before all was said and done.

Keys was honored with the 2019 Innovator award for the breadth of her career, which began with the No. 1 hit “Fallin’” in 2001. She shares Egypt and another son with her husband Swizz Beatz.
