Justin Paul and Benj Pasek accept the award for Best Original Song – Motion Picture for “This Is Me' from 'The Greatest Showman' during the 75th Annual Golden Globe Awards at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Jan. 7, 2018 in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Songwriters Benj Pasek and Justin Paul previously nabbed the same award for ‘La La Land’

Not only is the soundtrack for The Greatest Showman No. 1 on the Billboard 200, but the P.T. Barnum musical biopic's song “This Is Me” nabbed the best original song award at the 2018 Golden Globes.

Songwriters Benj Pasek and Justin Paul previously won the same award for La La Land’s “City of Stars,” which also netted the Oscar for best original song in 2017. Shortly after that, the celebrated duo’s Broadway smash Dear Evan Hansen nabbed a Tony for best original score.

As an added bonus, the pair had their award handed to them by Kelly Clarkson and Keith Urban, who sang the words “the Golden Globe goes to…” before announcing the winner. As Kelly explained, “We’ve now officially sang at the Golden Globes.”
