Host Pitbull speaks onstage at the 2014 American Music Awards at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on November 23, 2014 in Los Angeles, California.

Pitbull was busy hosting the 2014 AMAs, but that didn’t stop Mr. Worldwide from providing a killer medley of songs new and old.

Pitbull took the stage to a few seconds of his 2012 hit “Don’t Stop the Party, before launching into a performance promo for his forthcoming studio album Globalization. First, the AMAs master of ceremonies performed his new single “Fireball.” To close out the mash-up, he brought out Ne-Yo to power through the party anthem "Time of Our Lives.”

Pit opened the show with a snarky opening monologue that referenced Barack Obama’s recent speech on immigration. He also joked about how he wishes he looked a little more like the ever-handsome Enrique Iglesias. But when you can host the AMAs along with a hit-filled medley like this, there really is no need to be modest.

Globalization -- the new Pitbull album -- drops Nov. 24 via RCA. it features “Fireball,” which currently sits at No. 64 on the Billboard Hot 100.
