Lady Antebellum Talk Vegas Residency, Tease New Song 'What If I Never Get Over You'

Lady Antebellum spoke with Billboard’s Annie Reuter on the red carpet at the ACM Awards on Sunday (Apr. 7), where they discussed their Las Vegas residency and teased some new music.

Speaking of their Vegas residency, Charles Kelley tells Billboard that the band has been having a blast so far playing at a smaller venue. “Everything's renovated there over at the Palms and it’s just an intimate crowd,” he explains.

“We have the big moments, and the horns and all that, but then we really have an extended stripped down moment, that’s probably our favorite part of the show,” adds Kelley. “And now this next run were about to do in May, we’ll have a new single coming out next month so we’ll be able to actually perform that for the first time at that residency. So I’m looking forward to that.”

The trio also open up about their forthcoming new song titled “What If I Never Get Over You,” with Hillary Scott stating that it will be released in a little over a month from now.

“I think the fans who have been with us from the very beginning, it will feel fresh but familiar,” she says. “That kind of male and female perspective of longing and a heartbreak message and I think everybody will be able to listen to it and put their own story into it.”
