Jason Aldean Duets With Kelly Clarkson, Performs Medley Of Hits at 2019 ACM Awards

Aldean was also honored with the ACM artist of the decade award.

Jason Aldean lit up the Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas with a medley of hits during the 54th Academy of Country Music Awards on April 7.

Looking casual in a cowboy hat, button down shirt and jeans, Aldean opened with “Lights Come On” from his 2016 album They Don't Know. He then brought out Kelly Clarkson, who wore a stunning blue sequined midi dress, for a performance of their duet “Don't You Wanna Stay.”

Closing with his 2011 single “Dirt Road Anthem,” Aldean was then presented with the dick clark artist of the decade award by George Strait.

“That’s the reason I wear the cowboy hat right here,” Aldean said, nodding toward Strait. He then thanked his team, label, and his wife and family. “You changed my life forever,” Aldean told the crowd.

Aldean also opened the show earlier in the evening, performing "Can't Hide Red" with Florida Georgia Line.
