Mariah Reportedly Four Months Pregnant
Mariah Carey is reportedly expecting her first child with husband Nick Cannon, according to Radar Online. Although Cannon dodged the question yesterday (Aug. 24) on his radio show, a source confirmed that the couple has told their inner circle that the pop singer is four months pregnant. A paparazzi photo of Carey from last week wearing a spaghetti strap dress from maternity clothing store A Pea In the Pod further substantiates the rumors. (Radar Online, People)
Miley Cyrus Racy Film Script Leaks
The script of Miley Cyrus' current film project, "LOL: Laughing Out Loud," has leaked, and the pop star is apparently engaging in some racy behavior in the film, according to The Hollywood Life. The coming-of-age plot features Cyrus' character, Lola, losing her virginity, constantly discussing sex, smoking marijuana and showing her mother (Demi Moore) her Brazilian wax. ( The Hollywood Life)
Weezer's "Hurley" Originally Backed by Surf-Skate Company
Weezer's forthcoming album "Hurley," due out Sept. 14, was originally funded by Nike-owned surf-skate company Hurley International, according to guitarist Brian Bell. "We actually did some sort of advertisement [for Hurley] - I don't even know how they're tied in so much, although we got some clothes and we did a photo shoot (in which) we're wearing these clothes," says Bell. The explanation differs from the band's previous explanation for the title, in which the band said that they first chose a name for the album and then decided on a picture of actor Jorge Garcia, whose character in "Lost" was named Hurley. Yo Gabba Gabba! Unveils Musical Guests
Hit kids show Yo Gabba Gabba! has announced the musical guests for its "Yo Gabba Gabba! Live!: There's a Party In My City!" 60-city North American tour, which kicks off on Friday (Aug. 27) in Bethel, NY. Zac Brown, OK Go, Drive-By Truckers, Mates of States and many others will join the Nick Jr. gang on stage as Super Music Friends and perform one song in each city.
Big Boi Plots 'Lucius Left Foot' Tour
Outkast rapper Big Boi has set the dates for his fall U.S. tour in support of solo debut "Sir Lucius Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty." The trek kicks off Saturday (Aug. 26) in the rapper's hometown of Atlanta, while a Nov. 18 date in Sydney, Australia has also been announced.
