Kelly Clarkson covers "Burning Love" by Elvis Presley during 'Kellyoke.'

If you felt the temperature rising on Thursday (April 22), so did Kelly Clarkson after she performed Elvis Presley's "Burning Love" for her rocking Kellyoke cover.

Nothing could cool her down, especially with the warm colored lights setting the stage ablaze. Clarkson and the white suit-wearing members of her backup band Y'all honored the King of Rock 'n' Roll, while the talk show host added her signature soulful flourish to her rendition of his hit with a series of impressive vocal runs during the chorus: "Your kisses lift me higher/ Like a sweet song of a choir/ You light my morning sky/ With burning love."

"Burning Love" was Presley's 1972 hit single and titular track of his compilation album Burning Love and Hits from His Movies, Volume 2. The song peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100.

She previously covered The King's 1961 No. 2 hit "Can't Help Falling in Love" and his 1958 No. 1 hit and Grammy Hall of Fame record "Heartbreak Hotel" on The Kelly Clarkson Show.
