The streaming service collects the most popular picks from user-generated playlists for the ultimate vaccine soundtrack.

Spotify users have created countless soundtracks for their COVID-19 vaccine journey, and the streaming service has boiled it down to a science -- and to one playlist.

Since Jan. 1, Spotify users have curated more than 7,700 vaccine-related playlists around the world. In the last 90 days, Spotify has witnessed a 350% increase in fan-generated playlists specific to the COVID-19 vaccine and naming playlists after the various vaccine manufacturers, including Moderna, Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson.

The most common songs added to such playlists include Pat Benatar's "Hit Me With Your Best Shot," Lady Gaga's "The Cure," The Weeknd's "Save Your Tears," The Beatles' "Here Comes the Sun," SZA's "Good Days," Billy Joel's "Big Shot," ABBA's "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!" and Dolly Parton's "Jolene." That last one is because Parton recently gave some new lyrics to her 1974 classic while getting a dose of Moderna -- the vaccine she helped fund with $1 million of her own money -- singing, "Vaccine, vaccine, vaccine, vaccine! I'm begging of you please don't hesitate. Vaccine, vaccine, vaccine, vaccine! 'Cause once you're dead, that's a bit too late."

The streaming giant has collected samples from user-generated playlists and created its own 25-track Vaccine Songs playlist to soundtrack "the pre-shot pump up, to the jab itself, to the post-vaccine celebration." Spotify included the aforementioned tracks and added Lin-Manuel Miranda's "My Shot," Chloe x Halle's "Do It," The Fray's "How to Save a Life," AC/DC's "Shot in the Dark" and John Mayer's "Waiting On the World to Change."

Spotify also collaborated with the Ad Council and COVID Collaborative to include a link to Get Vaccine Answers in the playlist description.
