Rosé's in Kelly Clarkson's area -- sort of! The BLACKPINK member, who recently released her solo project -R-, appeared virtually on The Kelly Clarkson Show on Monday (March 29) to talk about her latest single and which artists she likes to sing along to while on the road.

The vocalist -- who was born in New Zealand and grew up in Australia -- told The Voice coach that when she was younger, her family liked to take long road trips that took seven to eight hours. Obviously, so much time on the road necessitates a poppin' playlist to kill time, and Rosé had exactly that.

"I sang, like, a lot of Taylor Swift, Beyonce ...," Rosé began before adding another impressive artist to her list. "I really wanted to mention that 'Because of You' was definitely part of that playlist. I think it was on repeat -- I can sing it from top to bottom."

Clarkson's hit off of 2004's Breakaway was the third single from her second studio album. It peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2005, and spent 37 weeks on the chart.

Rosé also opened up about "On the Ground," the lead single off her debut solo project. "I would say the song really resonates with me, myself. There's a part in the song that says, 'I worked my whole life, just to get high, just to be like, 'Look at me, I'm never coming down.' But it eventually says 'everything I need is on the ground,'" shared the K-pop star. "This is the song that just tries to keep everybody grounded. ... Think about what really matters to us."

Besides talking about music, Rosé also dished on her adorable pup Hank, and how she came to adopt him. And in an unaired segment posted to the show's YouTube channel, Rose showed Clarkson how to take a "quick weird" virtual selfie.
