Season 2 of YouTube's weekly music series RELEASED, which premieres Thursday night (March 18), will highlight new releases from Demi Lovato, DDG and Sub Urban.

RELEASED premieres every Thursday night at 11:45 p.m. ET just moments before artists drop their highly-anticipated music videos. "Season 1 of RELEASED featured some of the biggest artists in the world, bringing fans together to experience music moments that could only happen on YouTube. We are stoked to double down on Season 2," Lyor Cohen, global head of music for YouTube, tells Billboard in a statement. "The artists, the anticipation, the conversations and the premieres will continue to make Thursday nights on YouTube the place to be to see and hear new music from the world’s greatest musicians."

DDG runs it up tonight ahead of his music video premiere for "Rule #1," featuring Lil Yachty, while Sub Urban's episode launches on March 25 and Lovato's segment premieres on April 1, the day before her seventh studio albumDancing with the Devil…The Art of Starting Over, drops.

BLACKPINK was the first subject of the YouTube series back on Oct. 1, the night before their debut Album dropped, while Rosé got her own episode last week on March 11 in celebration of her "On the Ground" music video premiere. Other artists who were featured in season 1 of RELEASED include Major Lazer, Karol G, Sam Smith, Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Baby, Miley Cyrus, Paul McCartney, Ozuna x Anuel AA, Anitta, Dua Lipa, 24kGoldn, Bebe Rexha and more. RELEASED is produced by Den of Thieves and Gunpowder & Sky.

"Throughout all of the challenging moments in 2020, our shared love of music brought us together. This was especially true with our first season of RELEASED, which reached fans across the globe and connected them to their favorite artists each and every week," Susanne Daniels, global head of original content for YouTube, says in a statement. "We are so excited to continue bringing some of the industry's biggest hitmakers to YouTube in Season 2."
