Former President Barack Obama might love singing Bruce Springsteen songs in the shower just as much as he loves hosting a podcast with him.

During the latest episode of their new Spotify podcast Renegades: Born in the USA on Monday, Obama revealed the commonplace stage where his singing voice dominates, even to the dismay of his family: the shower.

"I sing in the shower, I sing outside of the shower. I am unembarrassed about singing," he said while laughing. "My daughters and my wife sometimes roll their eyes."

The streaming service shared his "Shower World Tour setlist" on Wednesday (March 3), and Springsteen makes plenty of appearances in the nearly 50-song list. Obama has two versions of the titular song of the podcast and The Boss' Grammy-nominated record "Born in the U.S.A." in his shower playlist: the original studio recording and the live recording from New York's Walter Kerr Theatre from July 2018.

He also added timeless protest anthems into the mix, ranging from Marvin Gaye's "What's Going On" and Billie Holiday's "Strange Fruit" to Beyoncé and Kendrick Lamar's "Freedom." Other songs from Stevie Wonder, The Beatles, Public Enemy, Joni Mitchell, Jill Scott, Elvis Presley and more round out the list.

The eight-episode podcast series, which is the second podcast in the partnership between Spotify and Barack and Michelle Obama’s production company Higher Ground, highlights Obama and The Boss intimately discussing race, fatherhood, marriage and the state of America. The first episode debuted on Feb. 22.
