Olivia Rodrigo attends the premiere of Disney+'s 'High School Musical: The Musical: The Series' at Walt Disney Studio Lot on Nov. 1, 2019 in Burbank, Calif.

Olivia Rodrigo’s “Drivers License” takes an early lead in the U.K. chart race.

Based on weekend sales and streaming data, the California teen’s power ballad looks set for an eighth week at No. 1.

“Drivers License” leads the Official Charts Company’s First Look survey, ahead of TikTok star Nathan Evans’ sea shanty “Wellerman” (up 3-2), featuring 220Kid and Billen Ted; and Riton's party starter “Friday” (up 7-3) featuring Nightcrawlers and social media stars Mufasa and Hypeman.

There are big early lifts for ATB, Topic and A7S’s “Your Love”, up 15-11, and Ava Max’s latest “My Head & My Heart,” rising 25-17.

The highest new arrival on the chart blast belongs to West London rapper Digga D with “Bluuwuu," at No. 19, just one spot ahead of Joel Corry’s club track “BED.”

The Official U.K. Singles Chart is published late Friday, local time.
