Lady Gaga attends the 60th Annual GRAMMY Awards at Madison Square Garden on Jan. 28, 2018 in New York City.

Lady Gaga has broken her silence after her French bulldogs were stolen and her assistant was shot on Wednesday night, offering a reward for the dogs' safe return and calling the dog walker "forever a hero."

"My beloved dogs Koji and Gustav were taken in Hollywood two nights ago," Gaga wrote on her social media accounts. "My heart is sick and I am praying my family will be whole again with an act of kindness. I will pay $500,000 for their safe return. Email KojiandGustav@gmail.com to contact us.

"If you bought or found them unknowingly, the reward is the same," she added. "I continue to love you Ryan Fischer, you risked your life to fight for our family. You’re forever a hero."

Fischer was walking the dogs on Wednesday night just before 10 p.m. in Los Angeles when a gunman shot him and fled the scene with the dogs, LAPD said on Thursday. A third dog got away and was found after the shooting.
