No other details were shared as of press time.

People, who was first to break the news, reported in October that McPhee was expecting. The baby is Foster's sixth child. The music exec and composer has five daughters from three previous relationships: Allison from a relationship in his youth; Amy from his first marriage to B.J. Cook; and Sara, Erin, and Jordan with second wife Rebecca Dyer.

McPhee and the 16-time Grammy winner met in 2006 when he mentored her on American Idol. They were engaged in 2018, a year after his divorce from fourth wife and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Hadid. McPhee and Foster tied the knot in 2019.

On the day of their nuptials, McPhee shared a throwback video on Instagram of herself performing her first single, with Foster on the piano. "Exactly 13 years ago today my very first single, Somewhere Over The Rainbow, was released right after Idol," she shared June 28, 2019. "Today... I'm marrying the man who produced it. Life is full of beautiful coincidences, isn't it? Thank you for taking me over the rainbow, David."
