He's here! Mandy Moore has given birth to her first child. The This Is Us star announced the arrival of her and husband Taylor Goldsmith's baby boy in an Instagram post on Tuesday (Feb. 23).

"Gus is here. Our sweet boy, August Harrison Goldsmith," the singer-actress captioned a photo of the infant in a onesie. "He was punctual and arrived right on his due date, much to the delight of his parents. We were prepared to fall in love in all sorts of brand new ways, but it goes beyond anything we could have ever imagined."

Just days ago, on Feb. 19, the star shared a series of photos on Instagram, revealing her baby bump and sharing her excitement about the baby's upcoming arrival. "Still waiting for this little man to make an appearance (seriously the waiting and anticipation is almost too much- I kid)," she wrote at the time. "Anytime you're ready, sir."

Moore announced in a September Instagram post that she and musician Goldsmith, whom she married in November 2018, were expecting their first child. She debuted her baby bump later in the year, when she appeared on the People's Choice Awards red carpet in November. She shared a mini gallery of herself in a black dress that put her bump on display, writing, "Baby's first awards show."
