Billie Eilish, her mother Maggie Baird and Darkroom founder/CEO Justin Lubliner are in early talks to executive produce the upcoming Peggy Lee biopic, Fever, Billboard has learned.

Fever will be directed by Todd Haynes and star Michelle Williams.

Eilish has directed and produced a handful of her own music videos, but this would be her first executive producer credit on a major film. Lubliner is an executive producer on Eilish’s upcoming Billie Eilish: The World’s A Little Blurry documentary out later this month.

Late last year, Lubliner, the year's leading 40 Under 40 executive, told Billboard that helping to establish artists in film was among his team's top priorities. (Eilish released the James Bond theme “No Time To Die” to rave reviews last February.)

Eilish is also working on her second album, the follow-up to her record-breaking debut album, 2019’s When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? She recently captioned an Instagram photo of herself in the studio, "almost done."
