Other cool items on the auction block include a sundress Miley Cyrus wore as Hannah Montana and a wardrobe test shot, Britney Spears’ childhood ballerina leotard, two custom fedoras worn by Michael Jackson and a beaded dress Madonna wrote in her Golden Globe-winning role in Evita.
There are guitars galore, including ones signed by Taylor Swift, Shawn Mendes, Kenny Chesney, Foo Fighters, Rascal Flatts, Joe Walsh, Bob Weir, Nikki Sixx, Black Pumas, Meredith Brooks and Lillix. There’s a Mitchell guitar signed by a bevy of country musicians and an illustrated Fender guitar signed by both Thomas Rhett and his dad, Rhett Akins, a country star in his own right in the 1990s.
There’s also a drumhead with ephemera signed by Foo Fighters.
The auction also included handwritten, signed lyrics to Tanya Tucker’s “Bring My Flowers Now,” Haim’s “The Steps,” The Lumineers’ “Stubborn Love” (signed by Wesley Shultz) and Billy Idol’s “Trouble With the Sweet Stuff.”
Other choice items include a jacket that David Lee Roth wore on a Van Halen reunion tour, along with a signed photo of Roth and the late Eddie Van Halen; a painting of Coldplay’s Chris Martin by fellow British singer Billy Morrison, signed by both artists; and a lithograph from No Time to Die, the long-delayed James Bond film, signed by both Billie Eilish, who sings the title song, and Daniel Craig, who stars in the film.
