Sex and the City is officially coming back to television with an HBO Max reboot fronted by three of its four original stars: Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon. Kim Cattrall's titillating character Samantha Jones will be dearly missed, but with the original HBO series' A list roster of guest stars, Billboard couldn't help but wonder: Which musician should make an appearance on the reboot?
Nixon, who plays Miranda Hobbes, once said Sasha Fierce (aka Beyoncé) would make a great Samantha. And Christina Aguilera already has her impression down. Of course, Cattrall could never be replaced, but it would be a treat to have someone as big as Queen Bey or Xtina channel her same energy.
Maybe Carrie Bradshaw ditches her Manolo Blahniks and models the statement heels from the AWGE x Amina Muaddi collection by New York native and "Fashion Killa" A$AP Rocky? Or Harry Styles could perform at Charlotte York Goldenblatt's daughter Lily's birthday party? Or the women head to Rihanna's Savage x Fenty fashion show for a night out in the city?
